If we all try we really can. For this we ask you to encourage the eco-friendly movements in your city. Now how can you encourage it, you might ask, and the answer is – by abiding by the rules of the movement yourself.
Eco friendly movements are initiated in your city with the aim of making your city a better place by trying to bring down the pollution levels. For example little things you need to observe on your part like try and avoid the use of plastic bags, avoid smoking in public places, never spit or throw wrappers or bits of papers on the roads, for it adds to the pollution.
Always encourage eco-friendly movements in your city, plant trees whenever you can and always remember it is your environment and preserving it is your duty.

Sometimes children can be quite irrational. At other time they can be quite sensitive. It falls upon you to bring your child up in such a way that he or she is aware of the environmental needs. In fact you will have to take every chance to show your child the values of being eco friendly.

The first step to teaching your child is to set an example. Take small steps on saving the environment. Switch of the Electrical switches whenever you get a chance. Make sure the tap is turned off whenever water is not being used. Children are quite observant.

You just do not know how closely they keep watching you. You must teach your child about the three Rs or Recycle, Reduce, Reuse. When you talk to your child about being eco friendly, make sure you do not sound like some boring teacher giving a lecture. Make it interesting so that the child will think it is cool to be eco friendly.

However, most of the camping expeditions have been characterized by people leaving litter all over the camping site, polythene papers, and other unhealthy wastes. The following tips can be followed, to ensure that the camping is Eco friendly.

To begin with, one should be cautious when walking around, to avoid damaging the fragile ecosystem, which may include seedlings or wildlife. Secondly, all trash should be collected before leaving the camping site. Even trash left by earlier campers can be removed, and basically the unwritten rule is that the camping site ought to be left better than one found it.

Campfires are built at designated rings only, unless with permission from camp guides. Plastics and other toxic materials should never be burnt in campfires. Finally, campfires must be completely doused when breaking the camp. These easy tips are a sure way of ensuring an Eco friendly camping.

The green movement attracts contributions from the unlikeliest of places including structural design where one can build their house to utilize the most minimum amount of energy as well as exploit the naturally available sources.

The best way in which one can contribute is by grassroots initiative since at the international level a lot of organizations routing for the environmental course tend to have different approaches to the problem of the planet’s pollution. One can also visit the local conservancies and learn of the species that need attention as well as network with their fellow environmentalists. With neo-environmentalism straddling issues that involve energy utilization it may do well to get involved in alternative energy initiatives.
