Green Career, Eco JobsGreen examinations are offered under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) as a certification given by the US Green Building Council. It aims at encouraging people to adopt environmental friendly development practices by creating universally acceptable performance criteria. The green exam is internationally accepted thus its holders are recognized as professionals in whichever part of the world.

The exam is taken by architects, construction managers, contractors, interior designers or other individuals involved in the construction industry. The exam has several versions for instance a version for new buildings and major renovations, existing buildings and commercial interiors. LEED accreditation for 2009 is in two sections. The first is a two and a half hour exam which if passed one becomes LEED Green Associate and the second takes one and half hours which qualifies one to be LEED AP with specialty. The exam has computerized multiple choice questions with instant answers.
