By going green one can save on a lot of money and energy for the future. Going green will make the earth a better place to live in.
Use more natural light instead of electric light for your home. Therefore, try to construct your home according to the direction of the sun at your location.
Have large windows to let in fresh air and natural light so as to use less of air conditioner and electricity.
Use programmable thermostat for your homes to reduce electric consumption. Lower the thermostat of your geyser from 140 degrees to 115 degrees. The difference in water temperature will not be much but the energy consumed will be reduced considerably.
Use less of your personal car for travel. Public transport is a better mean to travel. One can use bicycle or even walk to the shorter distances.
Instead of using elevators or lifts use, stairs to reach your office or apartment.
These few tips can save your money by going green.
